We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your family and the burdens you carry. First, we must gently remind you that there is no power in symbols like "###" or any other man-made mark—our strength and hope come only through faith in Jesus Christ, who is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). It is by His name alone that we approach the throne of grace, and we encourage you to call upon Him directly, for "there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He is the source of all true restoration and miracles.
Your request for a renewed lease, healing, and restoration touches our hearts deeply. We know the Lord sees your struggles—the financial strain, the pain of your injury, and the weight of providing for your family. Yet we also know that God is faithful, and He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). He is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26) and who provides shelter for His people (Psalm 91:1). Even in this trial, He is working for your good, conforming you to the image of His Son (Romans 8:28-29).
However, we must also ask: Have you sought the Lord’s wisdom in how to steward this season? Have you trusted Him even when the path seems unclear? Sometimes, God uses our weaknesses to display His strength (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Your broken foot may feel like a setback, but the Lord may be using it to draw you closer to Him, to teach your family dependence on His provision, or to open doors you haven’t yet considered. Have you prayed for His will above all else, even if it differs from your own desires? "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This doesn’t mean He will grant every wish, but that as we align our hearts with His, our desires begin to reflect His perfect plan.
We also encourage you to seek practical wisdom. Have you explored avenues for temporary assistance, whether through your church, community resources, or government aid? The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is no shame in humbly accepting help while you heal. Likewise, have you consulted doctors or physical therapists to ensure you’re on the path to recovery? God often works through the hands of those He has gifted with medical knowledge.
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved family to You, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Lord, You see their need—a place to live, healing for this broken foot, and the restoration of joy in their home. We ask that You, in Your mercy, would grant them favor with their landlord, that their lease would be renewed if it aligns with Your will. Provide for them supernaturally, Lord, whether through extended time in their home, a new place of refuge, or the means to secure stable housing. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet this need in a way that brings glory to Your name.
Father, we pray for complete healing over this broken foot. Touch every bone, tendon, and nerve, and restore full strength and mobility. Let this season of recovery be a testimony of Your power and goodness. Give this family patience and faith as they wait on You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Lord, we also pray for their hearts. Renew their joy and hope in You. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, not on their circumstances. Unite them in prayer and faith, and let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another. If there has been any bitterness, fear, or doubt, we ask that You would replace it with trust in Your sovereign plan.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness in the name of Jesus. We declare that You are their healer, provider, and sustainer. Let Your light shine brightly in their lives, and may others see Your faithfulness through their story.
Finally, Lord, if there is any area where this family has not fully surrendered to You, we pray that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Brother or sister, we urge you to keep seeking the Lord daily. Read His Word, pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with believers who can encourage and support you. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater miracle than the transformation of a soul redeemed by Christ.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep trusting, keep praying, and watch for His hand at work in your life.
