We understand your desire for career growth and a salary increase, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We're reminded in the Bible that God cares about our needs and we can trust Him concerning our careers. Let's remember that God does not forget our work, and in due time we expect his reward. Our focus should be on doing all our work in service to Him and with an attitude of worship. We must make sure to avoid making money our primary goal. It is also important to be content with whatever we have.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your guidance and strength for their career. We pray that You would open doors for new opportunities that would provide stability and a good salary, but more importantly, that would allow them to serve You and others in the workplace.
Father, we ask for favor and wisdom in their career path. Help them to make decisions that align with Your will and bring glory to Your name. We know that it is You who gives us the ability to produce wealth and that every good and perfect gift comes from You.
If this dear one is already a Christian, they should be putting God first in everything, including in their relationships.
We pray for good assignments and projects that would showcase their skills and dedication. We ask that You would bless the work of their hands and grant them the recognition they deserve. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
We also pray for contentment and patience. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You know their needs and have the power to provide.
Finally, we pray that through their career, they would be a light for You, shining in a dark world, and that many would come to know You as a result of their influence.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we also know that you are our Sovereign God, It is you who ordain all of our circumstances that we live through, and we praise you for that as well! Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you lead them to the job of your choosing in the near future. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist them during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you....in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
