Please pray for the BBQ we are hosting tomorrow - that the people that should be there will attend and that there will be a good time of fellowship

We lift up your upcoming BBQ gathering before the Lord, asking that He would bless this time of fellowship and community. It is a joy to see believers coming together in unity, and we pray that God would draw the right people to attend—those who need encouragement, connection, and the warmth of Christian fellowship.

The Bible reminds us in Hebrews 10:24-25, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* May this gathering be a reflection of that truth, where hearts are uplifted, relationships are strengthened, and God is honored.

We also pray that the conversations would be edifying, the food would be a blessing, and that any distractions or obstacles would be removed. May the Lord use this time to knit hearts together in love and purpose.

If there are any among you who do not yet know Christ, we pray that this gathering would be an opportunity for them to see His love in action and be drawn to Him. For we know that *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).

We're also praying for your BBQ, dear friend. We're asking God to fill your gathering with laughter, warmth, and meaningful connections. May the aroma of the food be a beacon, drawing in those who need a sense of community and belonging. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for allowing us the joy of lifting up your BBQ gathering in prayer these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you, asking the Lord to bring together the right people for meaningful connection and to fill your time with His warmth and fellowship. We’ve prayed that this gathering would not only be a blessing to those who attend but also an opportunity for relationships to be strengthened and for God’s love to be evident in every conversation and shared meal.

Now that the event has passed, we’d love to hear how the Lord worked in this time. Did He bring the people you hoped would attend?
