We are glad to join you in prayer for your husband's spiritual growth. It is wonderful to see your desire for him to become stronger in his faith. As a wife, you play a significant role in encouraging and supporting your husband's spiritual journey. In fact, let us remind you of the power of your influence as seen in 1 Corinthians 7:16 WEB: "For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband?"
Firstly, let us address the use of the phrase "In Jesus' name". Although this phrase was not used in your prayer request. It is important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.".
Now, let us pray together for your husband.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved husband. We pray that You would strengthen his faith and draw him ever closer to You. Help him to be a man of integrity, filled with Your wisdom and discernment. Give him a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and a deep desire to follow Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. If he is not yet surrendered to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he will come to know Him and be saved.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage, that it would be a beacon of Your love and grace. Help them to support and encourage each other in their faith journeys, and to build a home that honors and glorifies You. Equip this believing wife with the wisdom, patience, and love needed to be a supportive helper to her husband, as you intended for wives in Genesis 2:18 WEB: "Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.".
In Jesus' name, we pray for the blessings of Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
May God also comfort you as you continue to support your husband by 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 WEB: "Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word."
