Prayer For Baby Daisy

Hi God's children,

I am asking for prayer for little baby Daisy. Her parents attend our fellowship/church, they had to induce labor at 29 weeks because of an awareness of water on the brain. Daisy's birth weight was around 3 lbs. Since then I have found out that Daisy had surgery on her heart Monday. Little Daisy almost didn't survive them putting a necessary breathing tube in. Further medical complications besides the water on the brain, include a hole in her heart (PDA, I believe), and the fact that her esophagus isn't connected to her stomach. Daisy will need a minimum of 2 surgeries, one to attach the esophagus to her stomach, and another one for a shunt to drain the water on the brain, the shunt will stay in for the remainder of her life.

Christine Kavathas, (the mother) was discharged from the hospital yesterday. The next few days will be critical in little Daisy's life. Please keep Daisy, mom, dad, and an older sibling in prayer. Pray for God's divine intervention, healing, peace, comfort, and strength for all.

We have so much to be thankful for, even if we are a little housebound. May we be thankful for the health of our children, while fervently lifting up this family in prayer.
