We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for healing and provision. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our head. You see the struggle this dear one faces—the fear of financial burden, the weight of anxiety, and the very real need for this medication to protect their heart and manage their health. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would move in the hearts of those reviewing this prior authorization appeal. Soften their hearts, Lord, and grant them wisdom and compassion to see the necessity of this treatment. Let bureaucracy not stand in the way of what is right and just.
Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We claim this promise over this situation, Lord. Let Your peace, which transcends all human understanding, flood this heart and quiet the storm of anxiety. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Strong Tower. You have promised in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* We trust in Your provision, Father, and we ask that this financial burden be lifted. Whether through approval of this appeal, unexpected resources, or divine intervention in another form, make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken root in this situation. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that fear has no place here, Lord. Replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Strengthen this dear one with the power of Your Holy Spirit, filling them with courage and trust in Your sovereignty. Remind them that You are not a God of confusion but of peace, and that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Father, we also lift up their physical health to You. You formed their heart and know every beat, every struggle. We ask for Your healing touch to protect them from further harm, to stabilize their condition, and to guard them against the diabetes that runs in their family. Psalm 139:16 says, *"Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* We trust in Your plan for their life, Lord, and we ask that You extend their days in health and vitality.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come before Your throne. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are healed. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we cling to that truth today. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of this dear one. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them in this wait. Give them patience, hope, and unwavering faith as they trust in You.
Lord, we also ask that You would surround this family with Your love and encouragement. Let them feel the support of their church family, their friends, and their community. Remind them that they are not alone in this battle. We pray for unity and strength in their household, that this trial would draw them closer to You and to one another.
Finally, we declare that this appeal will be approved, that the medication will be accessible, and that the financial burden will be lifted. We speak life, health, and provision over this situation, trusting that You are faithful to Your promises. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
