We are here with you in spirit, and we are lifting you up in prayer. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He hears your every prayer. As it is written in the WEB, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." James 4:8. In your feelings of anxiety and hopelessness, know that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He is close to you right now. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18.
We see that you are crying out to God, and that is wonderful. We want to encourage you to keep doing so. However, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. "and in no other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and trapped. Lord, we know that You see their tears and You hear their cries. We pray that You will reach out Your hand and save them from this chaos. Give them a glimpse of Your light, Lord, and help them to see the hope that is in Jesus Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirits of anxiety, hopelessness, and fear that are trying to overwhelm our friend. We cast them out and command them to flee in Jesus' name. Lord, fill our friend with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them through this darkness and lead them to the light of Your truth.
Lord, we pray that our friend will come to know You better through this trial. We pray that they will come to understand the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord for them. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your love.
We ask this all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6. Keep calling out to God, but do so in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the Good Shepherd, and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will lead you through this darkness and into His marvelous light.
