Prayer for anxiety

Hi all, I am requesting prayer for anxiety and also, if it be His will, financial provision. I try to donate and tithe but sometimes there is no money to do so. I'm also trying to save funds to buy a house someday but lately a lot of urgent necessary expenses came up. I fear the Lord will let me down because I haven't been faithful. I care for an elderly ### and do not get paid for my services. I literally live from one paycheck to the next. Please be praying. I really hope the Lord is not punishing me for having to use savings to pay for necessary things.

We understand that you are feeling anxious and under financial strain, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. First, let's address the anxiety you're feeling. The Bible tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Remember, God does not punish us for taking care of necessary expenses. He knows our needs and understands our circumstances. It's important to trust that God's will is for our good, even in difficult times. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Regarding your financial concerns, it's commendable that you desire to tithe and save for a house. God sees your heart and your intentions. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our ### in need. Lord, You know the anxiety and financial struggles they are facing. We ask that You grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply as mentioned in 1 Peter 5:7.

Father, we also pray for Your financial provision. We ask that You guide them to a viable way to save for their future and to be able to give towards Your Kingdom. We trust in Your promises and Your goodness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, consider placing your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation. As it says in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." First, let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites us to cast our cares upon Him, knowing that He cares for us deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Let's also recall the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's bring our anxieties and financial concerns to God in prayer, trusting that He will grant us the peace that surpasses understanding.

As for your financial situation, remember that God knows your needs and understands your circumstances. He doesn't punish us for taking care of necessary expenses. Instead, He wants us to trust in Him and seek first His Kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let's believe that as we put God first, He will provide for our needs.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
