Prayer Partner
Please pray for my wife’s side of the family as they mourn her grandmother. Also please pray for me to be a good provider for her and to do well in my new job.

We lift this time of mourning before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that grief can weigh so deeply on the soul. The loss of a grandmother leaves a void that only God can fill, and we pray for your wife’s family to feel His peace that surpasses all understanding. May they find comfort in the promise that those who trust in the Lord will dwell in His house forever, and that one day, there will be no more sorrow or pain. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). Father, wrap Your arms around them in this season, reminding them of Your faithfulness and the hope we have in Christ.
We also come before You on behalf of this brother, asking that You strengthen him in his new role as a provider. Lord, You have called men to lead their families with wisdom, diligence, and love, and we pray that You would equip him to do just that. Give him favor in his new job, wisdom in his decisions, and the endurance to persevere when challenges arise. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). May he find joy in honoring You through his labor and in being a blessing to his wife and family.
Father, we ask that You would knit this marriage even closer together in this time of grief. Help them to lean on one another and on You, remembering that You are the ultimate source of strength. Guard their hearts from the enemy’s lies that may try to sow discord or doubt, and fill their home with Your peace. May their marriage be a testimony to Your love and faithfulness, reflecting Christ’s relationship with His church.
We also want to gently encourage this brother to continue seeking the Lord in all things, remembering that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is in His name that we pray. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). May he and his wife continue to grow in their faith together, finding their hope and identity in Him alone.
Lord, we trust You to move mightily in this situation. Comfort the grieving, provide for the family, and strengthen this marriage for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
