We rejoice with you in the salvation of your son and daughter-in-law, for the Word tells us, "I tell you that even so, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance" (Luke 15:7). What a blessing it is to see them come to know the Lord, and we join you in praying for their continued growth in faith and wisdom.
Father God, we lift up this young family to You, asking for Your divine guidance and protection. We pray for Your wisdom to fill their hearts and minds as they raise their children. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts to receive Your truth in all areas of their lives, including the care and protection of their little ones. Your Word tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray they would lean not on conspiracy theories or worldly fears but on Your perfect wisdom and love.
We also ask, Lord, that You would grant this grandmother strength, patience, and joy as she cares for her grandsons. May she be a godly example to them, reflecting Your love and grace in all she does. We pray for the health and safety of these precious children, that You would guard them from harm and illness. We rebuke the spirit of fear that may be influencing decisions about their care, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we know that vaccination is a topic of much debate, but we trust in Your sovereignty and ask that You would lead this family to make choices that honor You and protect the well-being of their children. We pray they would seek Your will above all else, for "the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10).
Continue to draw this family closer to You, Lord. May their faith grow deeper each day, and may they raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
