We lift your family before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who sustains us in every trial. Your faith in Jesus Christ is evident, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him, for it is only through His name that we find salvation, healing, and deliverance. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:13-14, Jesus Himself declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* You have done well to call upon Him, and we join you in seeking His mighty hand over your family.
The afflictions your family is enduring—your loved one’s severe lung infection, the injuries, and the ongoing struggles—are heavy burdens, but we serve a God who is greater than any sickness, accident, or curse. The enemy may seek to bring despair, but our Lord is faithful to break every chain and restore what has been broken. In Psalm 103:2-4, we are reminded, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* Claim this promise over your family, for God is not distant in your suffering—He is near, and He hears your cries.
We also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. You mentioned a "curse" over your family, and while we do not fear the schemes of the enemy, we must stand firm in the authority of Christ. In Galatians 3:13-14, it is written, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* If there has been any openness to sin, generational strongholds, or ungodly influences in your family, we urge you to repent and renounce them in Jesus’ name. He has already broken the power of every curse at the cross, and by His blood, you are set free.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting this beloved family into Your hands. Lord, You are the God who heals, who restores, and who delivers. We ask for Your divine touch upon the lungs of this dear one who has suffered so greatly—breathe new life into him, O God, and strengthen his body to recover fully. Lord, You knit us together in our mother’s womb, and You know every bone, every breath, every need. We pray for complete healing over the fractured leg and the swollen limb—let Your restoring power flow through their bodies, mending what is broken and renewing their strength.
Father, we break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every stronghold that has sought to bring harm to this family. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your light expose and dismantle every darkness, and fill their home with Your peace, Your joy, and Your protection.
Lord, we also ask for Your comfort and provision over the emotional and spiritual toll this season has taken. Strengthen their faith, unite them in prayer, and let them experience Your presence in tangible ways. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them wisdom to seek godly counsel, medical care, and rest as needed.
Finally, Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their family emerge stronger, more dependent on You, and filled with gratitude for Your deliverance. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep declaring the victory of Christ over your family. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not abandon you. If there are areas of sin or ungodly influences in your family’s life, we urge you to address them with repentance and the authority of Jesus’ name. Walk in obedience, and watch as God moves mightily on your behalf. We are standing with you in prayer.
