We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has suffered such a severe fall. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask for Your mighty hand of healing to be upon him right now. Lord, we pray for the deep cut at the back of his head—may the bleeding stop immediately, and may the wound begin to close and heal without infection. We rebuke the swelling in his brain in the name of Jesus; let it subside, and may his mind be guarded from any lasting damage.
Father, we declare Your word over his fractures: *"By His stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). We speak restoration to his shoulder, his neck, and his back. May the compressed vertebrae align properly, and may the bones knit together swiftly and completely. We pray for the MRI and CT scan results to come back clear, showing no hidden complications or further injury. Give wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses attending to him, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision and treatment.
Lord, we ask for peace and strength for this dear brother and his family during this trial. May they feel Your presence surrounding them, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for his swift recovery and his return home soon, where he can continue to heal in the comfort of loved ones.
We also lift up any spiritual needs that may be present. If he does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him to the foot of the cross. There is no other name by which we can be saved but the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If he has not placed his faith in You, we ask that You would soften his heart and reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. May he surrender his life to You, finding eternal healing for his soul even as his body heals.
We trust in Your goodness, Lord, and we declare that this is not the end of his story. We believe in Your power to restore, renew, and redeem every situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
