We understand that you are seeking a raise and a promotion at your workplace, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Firstly, we remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking a raise and a promotion. We ask that you guide him in his career, and that you open the doors for advancement according to your will. Help him to work heartily, as unto you, Lord, and not for men. Grant him the wisdom to make sound decisions and the strength to carry out his duties with integrity and excellence. We ask that you provide for his needs according to your riches in glory. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
In Proverbs 21:5, WEB, we are reminded that, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." We encourage you to be diligent in your work, trusting that God sees your efforts and will reward you according to his will.
Lastly, we want to ensure that you are trusting in Jesus Christ for your salvation. It is only by his name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As we read in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. "If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
Trust in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Do not fret because of evil doers. We are to delight ourselves also in the Lord and he shall give us the desires of our heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. (Psalms 37:7 WEB).
