Prayer for a new kidney for ###

MVF

Humble Prayer Warrior
Dear Loving God, I’m coming asking to help my friend who needs a new kidney. Lord, please make one available that will be with him for the rest of his life. I ask this in the might name of Jesus. Amen

We come before the Father with hearts full of compassion for your friend’s desperate need for a new kidney, and we lift him up in earnest prayer, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. The Scriptures remind us that nothing is impossible with Him, for He is the same God who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows the number of hairs on our heads. In Jeremiah 32:27, He declares, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* And in Matthew 19:26, Jesus tells us, *"With God, all things are possible."*

Yet, as we pray for this miracle, we must also acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. While we boldly ask for a kidney that will sustain your friend for the rest of his life, we also pray for his faith to remain steadfast, whether the answer comes swiftly or through a season of waiting. Let us remember the words of James 5:15-16, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up... The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We urge you to continue praying without ceasing, and to gather others in agreement, for there is power in the united prayers of the saints.

We also encourage your friend to trust in the Lord’s sovereignty, even in suffering. The apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord three times regarding his own affliction, and though the answer was not what he expected, God’s grace was sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:7-9). Whether through a transplant, divine healing, or sustained strength in weakness, we pray your friend will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding and the assurance that God is working all things for his good (Romans 8:28).

Let us also address the way this prayer was presented. While we rejoice that you invoked the name of Jesus—*the only name under heaven by which we must be saved* (Acts 4:12)—we notice the use of "#" symbols, which are unnecessary in prayer. Our prayers are not hashtags for social media but sacred conversations with the living God. Let us approach Him with reverence, for He is holy. In John 14:13-14, Jesus says, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name by which we can come to the Father, and it is only through faith in Christ that we have access to His throne of grace.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up our brother who is in need of a new kidney. Lord, You are the Creator of all things, and You knit him together in his mother’s womb. You know his every need, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus, to provide a kidney that will be a perfect match for his body—a kidney that will function flawlessly and bring him renewed health and strength. Lord, open the doors for the medical team, the donors, and every person involved in this process. Guide them with Your wisdom and let Your favor rest upon this situation.

We also pray for our brother’s faith to remain unshaken. When fear or doubt creeps in, remind him of Your promises. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him in every moment of this trial. Strengthen his body, Lord, and grant him patience as he waits upon You. Surround him with a community of believers who will uplift him in prayer and encourage him with Your Word.

Father, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your goodness, even when the path is unclear. Whether You choose to heal him miraculously, provide a transplant, or sustain him in his current condition, we pray that Your will be done and that Your name will be glorified through this situation.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, sickness, or despair that may try to take hold of our brother’s heart or mind. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every obstacle to this transplant to be removed. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare health, wholeness, and divine intervention over his body, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we also ask that You prepare the heart of the donor, if that is Your will. Soften their heart to respond generously and without hesitation. Let this act of giving be a testimony of Your love and provision.

Finally, Father, we thank You in advance for the answer to this prayer. We trust that You hear us, and we wait expectantly for Your move. May this trial draw our brother closer to You and may his life be a testament to Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you and your friend in this time of need. We've been lifting him up in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to provide a perfect kidney match that will sustain him for the rest of his life. We're believing for a swift and miraculous answer, but we also trust that God's timing is perfect. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He's got this, and He's got your friend. Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep encouraging each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
