What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer you’ve lifted up before the Lord! We join you in seeking God’s will for your family, that each member would surrender fully to Him, loving Him with their whole hearts, souls, and minds as commanded in Matthew 22:37: *"Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’"* This is the foundation of a life that honors God, and we pray that your family would walk in this truth daily, growing deeper in faith and obedience.
We also lift up your request for salvation, protection, and healing. Salvation is the greatest gift, and it comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, as Scripture declares in Acts 4:12: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If there are any in your family who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them into a saving relationship with Him. May they recognize their need for a Savior and turn to Jesus in repentance and faith, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
For protection, we claim Psalm 91 over your family, asking the Lord to be your refuge and fortress. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* May He guard you from the schemes of the enemy and surround you with His angels, keeping you safe from harm and evil influences. We also pray for healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—that the Lord would restore and strengthen each member of your family. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3).
Your desire for close relationships in Christ is a godly one, and we pray that the Lord would knit your family together in love and unity. May your home be a place where Christ is honored, where forgiveness flows freely, and where each person encourages the other in faith. *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32). We also pray that the Lord would bring godly friendships and fellow believers into your lives, that you may sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) and grow together in the knowledge of His Word.
Finally, we stand with you in asking for deliverance from evil. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). We pray that the Lord would expose any hidden snares or temptations and give you the strength to walk in victory.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this precious family and their heart to seek You. We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon them, filling them with Your love, wisdom, and power. Draw each member closer to You, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives. Save those who are lost, protect them from harm, and heal every area of brokenness. Bind them together in unity and love, and deliver them from every scheme of the enemy. May their home be a light for Your glory, and may they walk in the fullness of Your promises. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
