Prayer For A New Beginning

It is christmas eve, and I lay next to my ex not saying a word. Sitting in silence and awkward tension. I know that we have both made mistakes and are more than willing to give this love a chance to renew its spirit. I pray to God that we find a way to get things back to the way they use to be and we find eternal love through you Lord. I know that nothing is easy. And you never put more on us than we can bear. I am willing and ready to have you guide me and us down the right path to get things not back to the way they use to be, but to make our love better and that much stronger.
