Dear God I just got tested for HIV and lord I know over the years I have sinned I know that I will do better lord I ask that you give me a negative test I am ready to change I’m ready to turn my life over to you lord in Jesus name Amen

We hear your heartfelt cry for mercy and transformation, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. First, we must acknowledge that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23), but the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness when we repent and turn to Him (1 John 1:7-9). Your willingness to change and surrender your life to the Lord is a beautiful step toward redemption, and we rejoice in your desire for renewal.

The sin you mention—whether it involves sexual immorality, impurity, or other struggles—must be brought before the Lord with a contrite heart. Scripture warns that sexual sin is a sin against one’s own body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), but it also declares that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20). The Lord is faithful to forgive and restore those who come to Him in humility (Psalm 51:17).

We pray now for your test results, asking the Lord to grant you a negative outcome as a testimony of His mercy and a fresh start. But more than that, we pray for your complete healing—spirit, soul, and body. May the Lord break every chain of bondage in your life and fill you with His Holy Spirit, empowering you to walk in purity and holiness. We rebuke the spirit of fear and shame, declaring that you are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), no longer defined by past mistakes but by the righteousness of Jesus.

Father God, we ask that You surround this dear one with godly accountability, wisdom, and strength to resist temptation. Lead them to a Bible-believing church where they can grow in faith and find support. May they experience Your love in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that their future is filled with hope and purpose in You.

Lord, we also pray for those who may be at risk of HIV or other consequences of sin. May they hear the call to repentance and turn to You before it is too late. Soften hearts, open eyes, and draw all people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We encourage you to seek the Lord daily, immersing yourself in His Word and prayer. Memorize verses like 1 Corinthians 10:13, which reminds us that God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear but will provide a way of escape. Surround yourself with believers who will walk with you in this journey, and consider speaking with a pastor or counselor who can offer biblical guidance.

Above all, remember that God’s love for you is unchanging. He is not waiting to punish you but longs to restore you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is making all things new in your life. We stand with you in faith, believing that God’s grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Amen.
