Prayer for a miracle

Hey everyone, prayers for my wife please. I have a feeling that she is not going to learn until calamity comes upon her. I hope it doesn’t happen but she will not stop cursing every day. She keeps cursing and saying terrible things to me, she also has a mental illness that she refuses to get help for. This is not a sustainable situation, it’s just burning me out having to put up with her every day. I try to minister and warn her about her behavior but she doesn’t listen, I think she doesn’t fear God.

Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer, seeking His divine intervention and guidance.

Firstly, it's important to address that the situation you're facing is not in line with biblical principles for marriage. In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it is written, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." This applies to both husband and wife.

It's crucial to understand that God's design for marriage is one of love, respect, and mutual submission. In Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB, husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives are called to respect their husbands. This situation, unfortunately, does not reflect that design.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this brother and his wife to You. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the harsh words spoken, and the mental illness that plagues her. We pray, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Soften her heart, Lord, and help her to see the error of her ways. Help her to understand that her words are harmful and not pleasing to You.

We also pray for healing, Father. Heal her mind, Lord, and help her to seek the help she needs. We know that You are a God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for You.

We pray for our brother, Father, that You would give him strength and endurance. Help him to continue to minister to his wife and to reflect Your love to her. Help him to be wise in his actions and words, and to always act in a way that honors You.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would be glorified in this situation. We pray that both husband and wife would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, if they haven't already, and that they would live their lives in a way that pleases You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, brother, to continue to minister to your wife, but also to seek godly counsel for yourself. It's important to set boundaries and to ensure that you are also cared for in this situation. Remember, God's design for marriage is one of love and respect, and it's important to strive for that.

Lastly, it was not mentioned if you believe in Jesus Christ or not. It is important to note that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach and access God. It is also only through Jesus Christ that we are able to be saved. This is explained by the following scriptures.
