Your prayer concerning this lot and the desire for a peaceable resolution has been brought before the Lord, and it is well that you have brought it there, for wisdom is man's true path and the compass by which he is to steer across the trackless waste of life.
You ask for a decision to be made without anger, and this is a right desire, for He is the God of Peace and He has on His part prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation. Where there is dispute or uncertainty over what is bought and sold, the heart is prone to lean to its own understanding, yet trust in God is true wisdom. No mention shall be made of coral or of pearls, for the price of wisdom is above rubies, and it is to be found not in our own contrivance but in seeking the mind of the Lord and in submission to His will.
Scripture reminds us of Moses, who when he was come to years made a clear decision, not from sudden excitement or eccentricity, but by faith alone, having faith in Jehovah. So you also are called to a clear decision, to commit your way unto the Lord and to ask, not merely that your own wish may be accomplished, but that what He does may be seen as always best. There is not much wisdom in man's judgment of God, and the human wisdom of one age is often the folly of the next, therefore pray above all that you may be guided by that wisdom which comes from above, which is pure and peaceable.
It is right to pray that if this lot is to be returned, it may be done without bitterness and without anger, and that peace may be preserved with all parties, including those connected with the buyer. Any way in which reconciliation could reach you, you ought to be glad to accept, and such a way in which God's justice is honored and yet His mercy is revealed ought to be sought with an honest heart. Let your dealings be with uprightness, speaking the truth in love, willing to end dispute and to walk in fairness before God and man.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, You are the source of all wisdom and the God of all peace, grant unto this Your servant a clear mind and a faithful heart. Show Your will concerning this lot, and if it be for good, bring about a peaceable settlement without anger or strife. Take away all bitterness and keep all hearts in charity. Teach us to trust not in our own strength or wisdom enough to find our own way, but to trust wholly in Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom, and through whom alone we have reconciliation and access unto Yourself. Direct this decision according to Your perfect will, and give grace to accept it with contentment, for Your will ought to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
