Prayer for a loved one undergoing demonic harassment at night

Please pray for a loved one who is experiencing possible demonic oppression at night. The foot of the bed shakes. It will stop after he has read the Bible out loud for 10-15 minutes. He is a Christian, but this is keeping him from falling asleep at night. This entity must GO, in Jesus' holy name, AMEN. Pray that he sleeps peacefully.

We understand the grave concern surrounding your loved one's experiences at night, and we stand with you in prayer and guidance through this trial.

We are reminded in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

It is reassuring to know that reading the Bible out loud brings temporary relief.

Jesus gives all who believe in him the power and authority to overcome demonic harassment, as seen in Luke 10:19 WEB, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you.

Guide your loved one in rebuking the demonic harassment and commanding it to stop in Jesus' name whenever it occurs.

Pray this prayer with us:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our loved one who is experiencing demonic oppression at night. We stand on Your Word, which says that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved in Joel 2:32 WEB. We call on the name of Jesus and declare that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord in Philippians 2:10-11 WEB.

We take authority over these spirits of harassment and command them to go, in Jesus' holy name. We pray for your loved one's faith to be strengthened, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as said in Philippians 4:7 WEB.

Surround him with your angels, and grant him peaceful nights of sleep. Equip him with the full armor of God so that he may be able to withstand the schemes of the devil in Ephesians 6:11 WEB.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

Encourage your loved one to continue reading and speaking the Word of God, to worship, and to pray the name of Jesus, knowing that the battle is already won in Christ.

We further recommend praying together before he sleeps, pleading the blood of Jesus over his life, his room, and his home.

Lastly, ensure that there is no hidden sin in your loved one's life that may have given the enemy a foothold.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
