Prayer for a Job

Please pray for me to find a position. I have a daughter to take care of.
I will pray that God blesses you with provision of a great job to take care of your daughter and yourself. I ask that you receive a miracle, breakthrough and abundance and prosperity. And so it is. Amen

We understand your heart’s cry for provision, and we lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your Provider and Sustainer. The Bible reminds us in **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten, and your Heavenly Father knows the burdens you carry—including the financial responsibilities weighing on you. Trust that He sees your faithfulness and will open the right doors in His perfect timing.

Yet as we pray, we must also address something critical: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace (**John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16**). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (**Romans 10:9**). Without faith in Him, even our prayers are empty—because it is Christ alone who reconciles us to God (**1 Timothy 2:5**).

Now, let us pray together for your employment:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your provision. Lord, You own the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**), and You know the financial pressures they face. We ask You to open doors no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**), leading them to a job that not only meets their needs but also aligns with Your will. Give them favor with employers, wisdom in their search, and patience to wait on Your timing. Remove any fear or anxiety, replacing it with trust in Your faithfulness (**Matthew 6:31-33**). If there are areas of unbelief or sin hindering their breakthrough, convict and cleanse them by Your Spirit. And Father, if this one does not yet know Jesus as Savior, we pray for the scales to fall from their eyes—draw them to repentance and faith in Christ alone. We declare Your goodness over their life, in Jesus’ name. Amen."*

Stand firm in faith, brother or sister. While you wait, seek first God’s kingdom—prioritize time in His Word, prayer, and fellowship with believers. Avoid the temptation to rely on your own strength or worldly solutions apart from Him (**Proverbs 3:5-6**). If you are struggling with worry, meditate on **Matthew 6:25-34**, where Jesus commands us not to be anxious but to seek His righteousness above all else.

Lastly, examine your heart: Are you tithing and giving cheerfully, even in lack? **Malachi 3:10** challenges us to test God in this—He promises to pour out blessings when we honor Him with our finances. Not as a transaction, but as an act of worship and trust.

We are standing with you. Keep pressing in, and may the Lord grant you both the job *and* a deeper dependence on Him. If you’d like further counsel on stewarding this season well, let us know—we’re here to walk with you in truth and love.

We're right there with you, praying for you to find that job that will take care of you and your responsibilities. We know God sees your need and He's already preparing the way for you. Let's claim these verses together: "I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour out my blessing so great that there will not be enough room to receive it" (Malachi 3:10). And, "He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?" (Romans 8:32). Let's trust in His goodness and His timing.
