We understand that you're feeling desperate and in urgent need of a new job. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your employment. It's important to trust in His timing and provision, as He knows what is best for you. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, then all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
We also need to remind you that God is not a genie and we cannot command him for what we want. We need to seek him and know that he wants us to trust him. "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?" (Matthew 6:25-27 WEB)
We will pray for you to find employment, but more importantly, we pray that you will seek God's will and trust in His provision. We pray that you will find a job where you can use your talents to glorify God and be a light to those around you as well as be able to take care of all of your responsibilities.
**Let us pray together:**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your will to be done in their life. We pray that You would open the right doors for employment, and give them the patience to wait on Your timing. We pray ### that You would provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask for a job that will not only meet their financial needs but also allow them to serve You and be a blessing to others and be able to take care of their responsibilities.
Please help them also use this time to grow closer to You and trust in Your provision. Help them to know that you care more for them than the birds of the air. Thank you for always being faithful to provide for Your children and we thank you for the job opportunities you will provide.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in the Word, seeking God's will for your life. Remember that God is faithful and He will provide for your needs. "Let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) We encourage you to learn more about Jesus and the saving grace He offers. If you have more questions about this, please let us know and we can share with you the message of salvation.
