Prayer for a good appraisal at work

Dear Lord I pray for a good band of A and good appraisal. I have worked very hard this year. Help my appraiser recognize that and award me an A band. There are biases and need your help to acheive that. Help me get appreciated for the work and help me grow in my career. I make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
 
We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up this earnest desire for a just and favorable appraisal at work. Father, we know that You see every effort, every late hour, and every act of diligence offered in sincerity. The scriptures remind us in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." It is clear that this heart has labored faithfully, and we ask that You move in the hearts of those who evaluate this work to recognize its value and integrity.

Lord, we acknowledge the concern about biases that may cloud fair judgment. We pray that You would remove any partiality or favoritism that does not align with Your righteousness. Proverbs 22:29 says, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men." Let this truth be evident in this situation, that skill and dedication would be honored as they should be.

We also pray for growth in this career, not merely for personal advancement, but that this individual may be positioned to serve You more effectively in their sphere of influence. May this season of evaluation be a stepping stone toward greater responsibility and opportunity to reflect Your light in the workplace.

However, we must also gently remind that while earthly recognition is sought, our ultimate reward comes from You. Matthew 6:19-20 teaches, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven." Let this heart remain fixed on eternal things, even as we pray for earthly justice.

We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or bitterness that may try to take root if the outcome is not as hoped. Instead, let this be an opportunity to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You grant wisdom to those making these decisions, that they would see clearly and judge fairly. May this appraisal reflect truth and righteousness, and may this individual continue to walk in humility and perseverance, whatever the result. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your provision and timing.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

And remember, our ultimate reward comes from Him. Let's keep our hearts fixed on eternal things, even as we pray for earthly justice. We claim Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's trust in God's sovereignty, whatever the outcome. We claim Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
