Prayer For A Friend

I am seeking prayer for a good friend. He had struggled with alcohol and drugs in the past but is clean and sober now but is in jail for problems he encountered in the past with drugs and alcohol. He is quiet scared of the possibility of having to spend time in jail. He had expressed wanting to know more about God. He is a believer. I would greatly appreciate prayer for him and also prayer for myself to know the right things to say to him. Also prayer that he can feel God's love and comfort during this difficult time for him.
