We lift up this precious mother and her newborn child before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of such a trial. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon this mother and her baby. Lord, You knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every detail of their struggle. We ask that You would stop the mysterious secretions in the mother’s body and bring complete restoration to her health. Strengthen her, Lord, for she is weary, and grant her the endurance to press on in faith.
For this tiny baby fighting for life in the NICU, we plead for Your mercy. You said in Your Word that children are a heritage from You (Psalm 127:3), and we ask that You would breathe life and vitality into this little one. Let the doctors and nurses see signs of improvement, Lord, and guide their hands with Your wisdom. We declare that this child will not only survive but thrive, growing strong in body and spirit for Your glory. May this family soon experience the joy of taking their baby home, healthy and whole.
We also pray for the mother’s heart, Lord. Guard her mind from fear and anxiety, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You collect every one of her tears (Psalm 56:8). Surround her with Your presence, and let her feel the love and support of Your people.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of sickness or infirmity that seeks to harm this mother or child, for Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on that promise today and declare healing in Jesus’ name. May this family witness Your power and give You all the praise.
We ask these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, we have no access to Your throne, no hope of healing, and no promise of eternal life. But because of Him, we can boldly approach You, knowing that You hear us and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust You with this family, and we wait expectantly for Your miracles. Amen.
