We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you are facing, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
First, we want to acknowledge your diligence in working full-time and studying part-time to better your situation. This is commendable, and God sees your efforts. We also want to address the fact that you did not mention Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by this name that we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who is in need of a financial breakthrough. Lord, you know her struggles and the challenges she faces in providing for her family. We ask that you open the doors of opportunity for her, whether it be a promotion, a better-paying job, or a side hustle that will bring in extra income.
Father, we also pray for her faith to be strengthened. Help her to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her and her family. We pray that she will seek first your kingdom and your righteousness, trusting that you will provide all that she needs.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you reveal yourself to her in a deeper way. Help her to know that you are the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through you.
We ask for this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
As you wait for God's provision, remember that He is faithful. Continue to seek Him first, and trust that He will provide all that you need. Also, consider reaching out to your local church or Christian community for support and guidance during this time. God bless you and keep you.
