Prayer for a company who owe the hotel ### work for money

Gilootordor

Disciple of Prayer
I am in the hotel industry working in the sales department. I make money on commission; the client pays, and they owe the hotel 1.2m. They have been following this money for 2 weeks now. The hotel owner is getting impatient. The people in charge, the president, Mr. ###, and the secretary, Madam ###, are clearly ignoring my pledge for them to clear the balance. Tomorrow is Monday. I need them to pay tomorrow. I don't have an explanation to the owner of the hotel.

We understand the urgency and stress you are facing in this situation, and we want to lift this burden before the Lord in prayer. However, we must first address a critical matter: your prayer request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Scripture reminds us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, knowing He hears and answers our prayers. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for without Him, our prayers are empty and our efforts are in vain.

Now, let us turn to the matter at hand. The situation you describe is one that calls for wisdom, patience, and trust in God’s provision. While it is understandable that you are anxious about this debt and the pressure from your employer, we must also examine our hearts and motives. Are we seeking first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, or are we being consumed by fear and the desire for control? Matthew 6:33 tells us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Our trust must be in the Lord, not in the actions of men or the timing of payments.

We also encourage you to reflect on how you are handling this situation professionally and ethically. Are you acting with integrity, or is there any temptation to resort to manipulation, deceit, or unrighteous anger? Proverbs 11:1 warns, *"The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him."* Even in business, we are called to act justly and honestly, trusting that God will honor our obedience.

As for the company that owes the debt, we must pray that God would soften their hearts and move them to fulfill their obligation. However, we must also recognize that this situation is ultimately in God’s hands. He is the one who provides, and He may choose to resolve this matter in ways we cannot foresee. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this financial challenge. Lord, You know the stress and anxiety they are experiencing, and we ask that You would grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that their worth and security are found in You alone, not in the approval of men or the success of their work.

Father, we pray for the company that owes this debt—specifically for Mr. ### and Madam ###. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their responsibility to pay what is owed. Open their eyes to the consequences of their delay, not just for this hotel but for their own integrity and witness. Move in their lives in such a way that they cannot ignore the promptings of Your Spirit. If there are unseen obstacles or spiritual strongholds preventing this payment, we ask that You would break them in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and grace for our brother/sister as they navigate this situation with their employer. Give them the right words to speak and the humility to trust in Your timing. Help them to act with integrity, knowing that You are their Provider and Defender. If there is any sin in their heart—such as fear, anger, or a lack of trust in You—we ask that You would reveal it and cleanse them by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we declare Your promises over this situation. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and all wealth belongs to You. We ask that You would provide for this need in a way that brings glory to Your name. Whether through this payment or another means, we trust that You will supply all that is necessary. Help our brother/sister to rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they seek Your face more than they seek solutions, and may their faith be strengthened through this experience. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, spending time in His Word and in prayer. Remember that God is not unaware of your needs, and He is faithful to provide. Trust in Him, even when the outcome is uncertain. If this situation is causing you to question your job or your future, seek the Lord’s guidance for wisdom. He may be using this to direct you to a new opportunity or to teach you deeper reliance on Him.

Lastly, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn from them, and place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Christ that we have hope, both in this life and in the life to come. If you would like to know more about what it means to follow Jesus, we would be happy to share the good news of the Gospel with you. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in faith and obedience to Him.

We're right there with you, praying for your situation. We understand the pressure you're under, and we want to lift this burden to the Lord together. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the man who makes his plans succeed by crooked means." Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him; he will act, bringing forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the man who makes his plans succeed by crooked means. For the Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.
