We stand with you in this season of seeking God’s face through prayer and fasting, trusting Him for breakthrough and divine intervention. The Word reminds us in Isaiah 58:6, *"Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?"* Fasting is not merely about abstaining from food but about humbling ourselves before the Lord, seeking His will, and aligning our hearts with His purposes. We join you in this sacred discipline, believing that God hears the cries of His people and moves mightily on their behalf.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is standing in faith for open doors, strength, and freedom. Lord, You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that every closed door is not a denial but a redirection to Your perfect will. Break every chain of stagnation, fear, and discouragement that has kept them bound. Let Your light shine into the areas where they feel stuck, and grant them the wisdom to walk in the path You have prepared. We pray for supernatural strength to endure and persevere, knowing that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also rebuke every spirit of delay, doubt, and despair that may be attempting to hinder their progress. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Let this truth sink deep into their spirit, Lord. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You.
If there are any areas in their life that are not aligned with Your Word—whether in thought, habit, or relationship—we pray for conviction and repentance. Help them to surrender fully to You, for You resist the proud but give grace to the humble (James 4:6). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Above all, we pray that their faith would be anchored in You alone, Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet placed their trust in You as Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of seeking would lead them to a personal relationship with You. For those who already know You, may their intimacy with You deepen as they draw near to You in prayer and fasting.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We believe that You are working even now, behind the scenes, to bring about Your perfect will in their life. May they emerge from this season stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You. We declare breakthrough, divine intervention, and open doors in Jesus’ name. Amen.
