Prayer before bed

Thank you God for my peace, I believe and I receive. I choose to let go of anxiety, of what might happen, or who my husband might meet, that are figments of my imagination fueled by doubts and unbelief, fueled by something that seems changed in my husband. Forgive me for ‘looking’ for those things in my husband’s behavior. I know that the more I look, the more I will see because that is where my focus is and it is wrong.  I trust you with my husband, you love him and you are with him. Engage with him, Lord so that he does make good choices and does choose the way that leads to life…Jesus. I know you are with him…and he will make good decisions and choices, because that is how you created him to be and to do. Thank you for loving us. I choose life and I choose peace. Should my husband not call when I expect him to, I will not panic, choose fear, but I will stay in Your peace, because I am established in righteousness. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
