We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance from the grip of evil. The Word of God declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We recognize that the battle you are facing is not merely physical but spiritual, and we stand with you in this fight, armed with the power of the Holy Spirit.
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the evil one. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, we rebuke every spirit of control, wickedness, vileness, and abomination that has taken hold in your life. We declare that these forces have no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every evil spirit to flee from you, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on the promise of 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."
We pray that the Lord would break every chain of bondage in your life. Psalm 107:14 says, "He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces." We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill you with His power and presence, casting out all fear, oppression, and darkness. May you experience the freedom that comes from knowing Christ, for it is written in Galatians 5:1, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
Father God, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your angels, protecting them from every attack of the enemy. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We pray for a hedge of protection around their mind, body, and spirit, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for healing and restoration in every area of their life. May the Lord mend what has been broken, restore what has been lost, and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that You would give them a fresh revelation of Your love and grace.
Finally, we declare that no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord will deliver you from every snare of the enemy. We encourage you to draw near to God, to meditate on His Word, and to walk in obedience to His commands. For it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. Amen.
