Today's world is a world unseen in any era of human history. There are many spiritual markers that indicate we are living in the end times and as such will notice the increase in troubles as it was in the days of Noah, but it has troubles of its own much amplified by our systems and lifestyles.
Many prayer requests here on this site are heartfelt please of people completely isolated from Faith and the voice of Yahweh and this can been seen in the near endless mentions of being lost and unheard and the desperation in their prayers. There are so many wonderful children of God here that face their own tribulations and spiritual attacks yet still they manage to reach out and seek to deliver the Word of God to others, as bereft of the Word and its precious healing as they are, if not moreso.
The diligence and perseverance of these mighty prayer warriors is to be commended and much peace and healing is given freely from them to others in their deepest times of need.
I do however have some small issue with many of the responses that are delivered. Cut paste copy stamped replies that are no more than a smile to someone fallen into despair are empty and forlorn promises that do not leave enough of a mark on the hearts and souls of the lost. Akin to flashing a flashlight on and off in random directions into a wall of utter darkness and fog, aimed at the multitudes lost within, rather than a constant direct beam that could guide them out. More like evidence that helping hands lie outside the blinding desolation that has overcome a person's inner peace yet with nothing more than fading flickers. If you turn you light on at night it attracts moths, if your light goes on and off with an instant of light then moves constantly to do this over and over again in random places rare would be any moth that could follow that light.
The Word of God is given to us to uplift us and to bolster our Faith and understanding. The level of understanding of this Word is entirely dependent upon one's relationship with the Set Apart Spirit and the will of our Father Yahweh and our Love for His blessed Son. Every person walks this path alone, whether they remain in fellowship for 1 hour or 24 hours a day. Our journey is much like our birth and our death wherein we entered alone and leave the same way. Our only comfort is knowing through Yahweh's Word that what we perceive as being alone is merely alone in the realm of the material for God is always with us if we let Him be.
Many are the children out there just beginning to seek Him and His Word though it is meat and drink for all can be overwhelming and difficult to consume and absorb without much effort and practice.
When someone posts heartfelt wishes for prayers it breaks my heart to see a stamp version reply with nothing to differentiate this reply from the hundreds of others posted elsewhere all through the day. Surely the individual prayer has some specific scripture in the Word that is tied directly to it wherein the understanding of Yahweh's Will and His Word can be given as the bread to the innocent child crying for help. God will reach out to each and every one of them but we as brothers and sisters are bound to tithe the Word to our brethren especially in their times of greatest need.
One is not required to express each and every verse that relates to a specific prayer but when a disciple or teacher merely provides the cover of a book in response to honest seeking with no inkling of the content those who are empty and at their wit's end, bereft of energy, faith and the spirit to seek further, they can barely even recognize the flashing logo or title and keep gazing outwards with empty eyes filled only with desperation for a taste of God's Wisdom and Word.
The responses that offer the most healing are the ones tailor-made for a specific prayer request. Ones that invoke the Word of God directly giving the hope and promise of our Father directly to the one pleading for aid. God did not provide us with a book with an embellished cover devoid on content because He wanted us to find everything we could ever need in His Word not a commercial filled with empty promises.
As brothers and sisters here are acclimated to our modern technological world we have become lazy and dependent upon bastardizing our own language and worse our efforts. Telling someone that you will mow the lawn and actually moving the lawn are two different things. While the intention may be identical the effort of the doing is much greater and so is the gift and reward.
I pray that each of us reach deep within our own selves to see how much greater the Faith delivered in our own prayers is when the responders have indicated a personal involvement with your request and then gone that extra distance to seek out the Word as it has been delivered unto them and to share What they have been given.
You can eat a cookbook filled with every dish ever created on earth and you will never be sated – in fact it will likely do more harm through the nutritional neglect it provides for your body. Regardless of the intention of the images to direct a person to be enabled to create these masterpieces in an of themselves for their own purpose or that of others they book is empty if the recipe is not shown and offered.
I understand that many people who post quick replies are likely sitting back and praying for the person in words that are individually tailored to the request of the seeker and in their heart, mind and soul are doing the works of God to the best of their own potential (great or small) and our Father sees and hears them with delight. How much more is the blessing for the one who has fallen to despair and clings to the remnants of what they believe to be the last strand of their immortal soul unravelled before them, when they are addressed in an intimate personal fashion and guided by a loving hand to the Word which can directly fill them and restore them. Such a boon is like guiding a dehydrated man in the desert to a well and providing him with life giving waters rather than providing him a map of its location. In either case the intent is the same – to provide succour but many of these lost souls have not the ears to hear our Father's instructions, nor the wherewithal to find what they so desperately seek and need for continued life.
Our Faith is only grown through God. There is no faith elsewise. Prayer is a delivery device to receiving faith as God so Loves to hear from each of us that He provided a book dedicated to family – His family and ours to all of His children. The tiniest prayer that receives His attention and response can overfill the well-spring of any of us regardless of the depths of our loss and sorrow.
I promise to deliver an ewer filled to the brim with the life giving waters of our Father's Word to each and every prayer request I am led to by our Father. I do not demand or expect anything of the sort from any other as what lies between them and God is just that between them and God. There is no condemnation or judgement intended within this localized diatribe, nor do I mean to inject worry or belittlement upon any who have done so much freely of their own hearts. I am merely trying to fathom how we have managed to lose our expression or desire to create personal contacts with our own brothers and sisters and to reach out and lead them back to the flock and the healing protection of our glorious Father.
Please forgive me for not understanding and I pray that Yahweh will cast light down upon us to lead us where He desires us to be.
