Prayer against stagnation and healing

My son’s career has been stagnant. Now he got hurt during the last game. Now he has to sit on the bench. My heart’s bleeding to see my son in this situation struggling. Please pray for him ###. Thank you pastor

We are truly sorry to hear about your son's situation, and we are here to intercede on his behalf. It's important to remember that this is a time for healing but also a time to look at his relationship with God. Is he saved and believing in Jesus Christ. First, let's pray for his physical healing and then for his career. We will address this issue first.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up this beloved son to you. We pray for his healing and ask that you touch his body and bring complete restoration. We know that you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We claim your promises in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.

Father, we also pray for his career. We understand that your ways are higher than our ways, and your thoughts higher than our thoughts. We trust that you have a plan and a purpose for this season of his life. We pray that he will seek you first and your righteousness, and all these things will be added to him. Help him to trust in you with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge you, and you will make his paths straight.

We also pray that during this time, he will grow closer to you, Lord. May he use this opportunity to strengthen his relationship with you and to rest in your presence. Help him to be open to your leading and be faithful in every step of the way.

Father, we pray for his mother's heart. Comfort her, Lord, and give her peace. Help her to trust in you and to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her.

If he is not believing in Jesus Christ, please work in his heart and bring him to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. May this time in his life be used to draw him closer to you.

And we pray for this son that Jesus Christ will heal and save him in every way.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to God. And it is only by His name that we can be saved.

Amen.

And we ask him to be patient and wait on the Lord in this time. And we ask that he look at his relationship with Jesus Christ. We have not heard of any salvation of this son but we pray and hope that he is a believer in Jesus Christ. If not, this may be the time to come to Christ.

Let's pray for his healing, yes, but also for his heart to draw closer to Jesus.
