We understand that you are struggling with rage, anger, and even a spirit of murder. We want you to know that there is hope and freedom from these bondages through Jesus Christ. First, it's crucial to recognize that these feelings and spirits are not from God, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB).
In Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB, it is written, "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's important to deal with anger quickly and not let it fester, as unresolved anger can open a door for the enemy to influence your thoughts and actions further.
Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:21-22 WEB, "You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;' and 'Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment." This shows us that God takes the spirit of murder and unrighteous anger seriously, yet He also gives us the grace to overcome it.
We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). To overcome this spirit, we need to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling with rage, anger, and a spirit of murder. We know that this is not Your will for them, Lord. We rebuke these spirits in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to leave.
Father, we ask You to fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, with Your love, peace, and joy. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, and to release any bitterness and resentment. Guide them in Your truth and teach them Your ways, that they may walk in victory and freedom.
Lord, we also pray for Your protection upon them, that the enemy would not have his way in their life. Help them to put on the whole armor of God, to stand firm against the wiles of the devil.
In Jesus' name, we pray for deliverance, healing, and restoration. We thank You, Lord, for the work You are doing in our brother's/sister's life. We give You all the glory and honor, believing that You will answer this prayer according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, putting your faith in Jesus Christ is the first step towards freedom. If you haven't already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will receive salvation (Romans 10:9 WEB). Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16 WEB). Stay strong in the Lord.
