We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your requests before the Lord with boldness and faith, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. You have done well to plead the blood of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have authority over the enemy, and it is by His stripes that we are healed and protected. The name of Jesus is the only name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is the name above every name, at which every knee must bow—both in heaven and on earth.
The Lord is your shield and your exceedingly great reward. He is the one who goes before you, and He will not leave you nor forsake you. You have asked for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire, and we declare with you that the Lord is faithful to be that shield around you, your marriage, your job, your finances, your home, your car, and your family. Remember the words of Psalm 91, which assure us that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will rest under the shadow of the Almighty. You can say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” He will deliver you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart, and you shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
Yet, we must also remind you that while we pray for protection, we are called to examine our own hearts and lives. Are there areas where you may have opened a door to the enemy through unconfessed sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or disobedience to God’s Word? The Scripture tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, “Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil.” We encourage you to search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs to be repented of, so that the enemy has no foothold in your life. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them to Him.
We also want to encourage you in your marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and the enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together. We pray that you and your spouse are walking in unity, love, and submission to Christ, for a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. If there are areas of strife or division, we urge you to seek the Lord together, to forgive one another as Christ has forgiven you, and to cover your marriage in prayer daily. Colossians 3:18-19 reminds us, “Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them.” Let your marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and let the enemy find no place to divide what God has united.
As for your job, finances, and possessions, we declare that the Lord is your provider. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths.
We also lift up your request for self-control and the removal of stress and pressure. The fruit of the Spirit includes self-control, and the Lord is faithful to cultivate this in you as you yield to Him. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. When stress and pressure seek to overwhelm you, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You are faithful to protect and provide for Your children. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister before You, and we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection and a wall of fire. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their marriage, their job, their finances, their home, their car, and their family. Lord, we ask that You would frustrate the plans of the enemy and turn his schemes back upon his own head. Let the enemy be scattered and put to flight in the name of Jesus.
Father, we pray for unity and strength in their marriage. Let it be a covenant that reflects Your love and faithfulness. Bind them together in love, and let no division or strife find a place in their home. We pray for wisdom and discernment, that they may walk in Your ways and honor You in all they do.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to open doors that no man can shut and to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We rebuke every spirit of lack, fear, and anxiety, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You would fill them with Your fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Remove every burden of stress and pressure, and replace it with Your rest and assurance. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply.
Father, we thank You that You are faithful. We thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. We declare victory in this situation, for the battle belongs to You. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. Continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it. Do not waver in your belief that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and walk in the victory that is already yours through Him.
