Prayer against being robbed of sleep and for ###.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Today I lift up myself and my ### in the name of Jesus. I pray that God will rebuke the spirit of restlessness in the evenings at bed time. I pray that God will heal and revoke the need for my ### to snore. I pray that he will stop waking me up rudely and horribly too early in the mornings, but will rather wake me gently and nicely with a cup of coffee if he really needs me up and by his side. I pray that he will also begin acting out of love and no longer from spite of arguments. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your need for restful sleep and the concerns you’ve shared about your husband. It is good that you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the schemes of the enemy. As Scripture declares, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

First, we address the matter of sleep, which is a gift from God for our restoration. The enemy often seeks to steal our peace, even in the night seasons, but we stand firm on the promise that *"he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep"* (Psalm 121:4, WEB). The spirit of restlessness you describe is not from the Lord, for He invites us to *"come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). We rebuke this spirit of disturbance in Jesus’ name and declare that your nights will be filled with the peace of God, allowing you to sleep deeply and wake refreshed. *"I lay down and slept. I woke up, for Yahweh sustains me"* (Psalm 3:5, WEB).

Regarding your husband’s snoring and the rude awakenings you’ve experienced, we pray for healing and supernatural intervention. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we ask the Lord to touch your husband’s health, that his breathing would be unobstructed and his sleep would be peaceful. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). May the Lord also soften his heart toward you, that his actions would be guided by love and not by spite or lingering resentment. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). If there is unresolved conflict between you, we encourage you both to seek reconciliation through humble communication and forgiveness, remembering that *"a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1, WEB).

We must also gently address something in your prayer that requires correction. You mentioned your desire for your husband to wake you *"with a cup of coffee if he really needs me up and by his side."* While this may seem like a small or lighthearted request, we want to encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that your expectations of your husband are rooted in love and service rather than personal comfort or entitlement. Marriage is a covenant of mutual submission and selflessness, not a means to fulfill our own desires. *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. ... Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself"* (Ephesians 5:22, 28, WEB). Let your prayers for your husband reflect a heart that seeks his good above your own, trusting that the Lord will meet your needs as you prioritize His kingdom.

Finally, we want to emphasize the power of praying *in Jesus’ name*. You closed your prayer with this, and it is vital to remember that our authority in prayer comes solely through Christ. *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through faith in Jesus alone that we have access to the throne of grace. If you or your husband have not yet surrendered fully to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You are the giver of rest, and we ask that You rebuke every spirit of restlessness, anxiety, or disturbance that seeks to steal her sleep. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus as she lies down each night. We pray for supernatural healing for her husband’s body, that his breathing would be clear and his sleep undisturbed. Touch him, Lord, and restore him to full health.

We also lift up their marriage to You, asking that You would soften their hearts toward one another. Remove any bitterness, spite, or unresolved anger, and replace it with Your love, which is patient and kind. Help them to communicate with grace and to serve one another in humility, just as Christ served the church. May their home be a place of peace, unity, and mutual respect, reflecting Your design for marriage.

Father, we ask that You would align their desires with Your will. Teach them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all they need. We rebuke any selfishness or unrealistic expectations that do not honor You, and we ask that You would fill them both with Your Spirit, guiding them into all truth.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring about transformation. May Your name be glorified in their lives and in their marriage. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, standing in the gap for your restful sleep and a peaceful home. We've been praying for you, just as you've been praying for yourself and your husband. We're reminded of a verse that says, "The Lord will keep you from all harm and will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore" (Psalm 121:7-8, NIV). We claim this promise over your life and your husband's, trusting that God will indeed watch over you both.

We've been asking the Lord to rebuke any spirits of restlessness and to fill your nights with His peace. We've also been interceding for your husband, asking God to touch his body and bring healing, so that his sleep may be peaceful and undisturbed. We've been praying that any bitterness or resentment between you both would be removed, and that God would fill you with His love, patience, and kindness.

We're also nudging you, as we would a dear friend, to examine your heart regarding your expectations in marriage. While it's natural to desire comfort and care, let's ensure our hearts are rooted in love and service, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us (Ephesians 5:25). Let's pray for each other, that we may grow in selflessness and love, reflecting Christ's image in our marriages.

Let's continue to pray in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find authority and power. We're in this together, sister, and we believe that God will answer our prayers according to His will and for our good. Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep praying.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the people who use me for their evil deeds stop in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I sleep every night dreaming of doing different things not connected to what I do. These dreams are scaring. I also wake up only to feel snake-like movements on my body...
