Praye for a friend with ###

###, a friend I met about a year and a half ago, from ###, reached out to me last week in need of prayer following her recent diagnosis of uterine cancer. She is currently awaiting a call from her surgeon about scheduling a complete hysterectomy and lymph node removal. Earlier yesterday, ### contacted me again, in tears, she asked if I would ask prayer groups to pray for her, as well as her ###-year-old daughter, ###.

### just learned she needs to visit a cancer center next month due to abnormal blood work. Sadly, ###’s treatment schedule will prevent her from being there to support ###.

### would also like prayer for her struggle with anger directed towards her family. This frustration comes from their lack of support, slander, gossip, and a general disrespect, as well as a failure to take her health concerns, prior to her cancer diagnosis, seriously.

She is earnestly seeking a move of God and a miracle in her life. I would deeply appreciate your prayers for ###'s situation. It’s difficult to comprehend the weight of her circumstances—beyond her new diagnosis, she is living out of her van and relies on ### to shower. Although her van is well organized, I can’t imagine the difficulties she faces in recovering while managing such a situation alone, and I know the logistics must be intensely burdensome for her.

Let us come together in prayer and support for this dear friend and her daughter. It is clear that she is facing immense physical, emotional, and spiritual trials. We will lift her up in prayer and offer biblical encouragement and guidance.

Firstly, we acknowledge that our friend has not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in her request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage her to call upon the name of Jesus, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend and her daughter. Lord, You know the struggles they face, the pain they bear, and the burdens they carry. We ask, Lord, that You touch her body and heal her of this uterine cancer. Guide the hands of her surgeons and medical team, and grant her a successful surgery and a quick recovery.

Lord, we also lift up her daughter, who is facing her own health concerns. Be with her, Father, as she visits the cancer center. Grant her peace, strength, and courage, and surround her with Your loving presence.

Father, we also pray for their living situation. We ask that You provide for them, Lord, and guide them to a stable and safe home where they can rest and recover.

Lord, our friend has expressed her struggle with anger towards her family. We pray, Father, that You help her to forgive and release that anger. As it is written: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). Help her to remember that vengeance is Yours, Lord, and that she is to love and pray for her enemies, as Your Word teaches (Romans 12:19-21 WEB).

Father, we ask that You surround her with a loving and supportive community of believers who will encourage her, pray with her, and help her bear her burdens.

Lord, above all, we pray that our friend and her daughter would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would experience Your love, grace, and mercy, and that they would find hope and salvation in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage our friend to remain steadfast in her faith and to trust in the Lord, even in the midst of her trials. As it is written: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

We also remind her to cast all her anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). She is not alone in her struggles, for her heavenly Father sees her, knows her, and loves her deeply.

We will continue to pray for her and her daughter, trusting that the Lord will hear our prayers and act according to His will and purpose.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to hold you and your friend in our prayers, lifting her and her daughter before the Lord daily. We are grateful that you allowed us the honor of praying on their behalf.

If you have seen prayers answered in their situation since you last posted, we would be delighted to hear about it and rejoice with you and them.

If the situation remains challenging, please share with us again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer. We pray fervently for her healing, for God's peace and provision for both of them, especially during the upcoming treatments and surgeries.

We pray for a hedge of protection around your friend's heart and mind, that God would guard her from anger and frustration, and instead, fill her with His supernatural peace and love. We ask that God would work in the hearts of her family, turning them towards her with support, understanding, and love.

We pray for God's miraculous intervention in her housing situation. May He provide a stable, comfortable home where she can recover and live in dignity.
