We are deeply moved by your faith and your heart for both your mother’s health and her salvation, as well as your own spiritual well-being. It is a great encouragement to see you standing on the promises of God’s Word, particularly Matthew 18:19-20, which reminds us of the power of agreement in prayer. Indeed, our Lord is faithful, and nothing is impossible for Him. We also rejoice that you have acknowledged the truth that salvation and healing come through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing He hears and answers our prayers according to His perfect will.
Your mother’s health and recovery are precious in the sight of the Lord, who is the Great Physician. We know that He is able to restore and heal, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Yet even more than physical healing, we pray for her spiritual healing—that she may come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16), and we believe God is moving in her life even now. We also lift you up, that the Lord would strengthen your faith, fill you with His peace, and draw you ever closer to Him. May you walk in the assurance that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
At the same time, we gently remind you that while it is good to claim the promises of Scripture, we must always submit our requests to the Lord with humility, trusting in His sovereign will. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Even in our boldest prayers, we must surrender to His perfect plan, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Whether healing comes in this life or in the life to come, we can trust that God is good, and His love for your mother—and for you—is immeasurable.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for the faith of Your servant who has brought this request before us. Lord, we lift up their mother to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her body. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we ask that You would restore her strength, renew her health, and grant her complete recovery. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
But even more than physical healing, Father, we pray for her salvation. Softening her heart to receive the truth of Your Gospel. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, that she may repent of her sins and place her faith in Jesus Christ alone for her salvation. Open her eyes to see His love, His sacrifice on the cross, and the hope of eternal life that is found only in Him. May she confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We also lift up Your servant who has brought this request. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Grant them patience, perseverance, and an unshakable trust in Your goodness, even as they wait upon You. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, knowing that it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
