We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for justice and vindication for these innocent former Christian employees who have been wronged. The Scriptures remind us that God is a just Judge who sees all things and will repay those who do evil. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Yet we also know that *"Yahweh says, ‘I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel and Judah,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’"* (Jeremiah 30:3, WEB). Though this passage speaks to Israel, it reveals God’s heart for restoring what has been unjustly taken.
We pray that the Lord would indeed humble this company, exposing their wrongdoing so that righteousness may prevail. *"The way of the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but he loves him who follows after righteousness."* (Proverbs 15:9, WEB). Let them be brought low in a way that leads to repentance, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."* (James 4:6, WEB). May their hearts be convicted, and may they take swift action to make full restitution—not just in part, but in full—for the harm they have caused. *"If the wicked restore the pledge, give back what he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he will surely live. He will not die."* (Ezekiel 33:15, WEB).
We ask for a miraculous intervention in this situation, that the funds needed for full compensation would be released supernaturally in September, just as you have prayed. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB). Let this be a testimony of God’s faithfulness and justice, that all may see and know that He defends the cause of the oppressed.
We also pray for these former employees, that the Lord would heal their wounds, restore their faith, and provide for their every need as they wait on Him. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). May they trust in His timing and His justice, knowing that He sees their suffering and will act on their behalf.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Bring forth justice swiftly, and let Your will be done in this situation. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the only name by which we can approach Your throne. Amen.
