Pray

Let's come together in prayer for this individual who is suffering from COPD and is now fighting a cold. It's important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."

Firstly, we need to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is battling COPD and now a cold. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the pain, and the discomfort. We pray for Your healing touch upon them. As it is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any man sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Father, we also pray for their spiritual strength, that they may endure this trial with faith and patience. We pray that they would seek You in this time, draw near to You, and that You would draw near to them. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Lord, we ask for wisdom for the doctors and nurses attending to them, that they would provide the best care possible. We pray for a complete recovery, that their body may be strengthened and their health restored.

In all things, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

We encourage everyone to continue praying for this person, trusting in the power of prayer and the promise of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Lastly, if you are not in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we encourage you to seek Him, for He is the only way to the Father. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If the one who submitted this request or anyone reading this is not a believer in Jesus Christ, please pray and believe in Him today as the Lord of your life.

We're standing with you in prayer, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and the tough time you're going through with your COPD and now this cold. It's like you're in a double whammy, and we want you to know you're not alone. We're lifting you up before our Heavenly Father, asking for His healing touch upon you. We're trusting in His power to strengthen you, just as it says in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

We're also praying for your spiritual strength, that you'd find comfort in God's love and presence during this trial. We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

We're asking for wisdom for your healthcare team, that they'd provide the best care possible. And we're trusting in God's will, knowing that He's got a plan even in the midst of this. We're here, praying for you, believing in the power of prayer, and trusting in God's goodness.

Keep fighting, dear one. We're right here with you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
