We are blessed to join you in prayer and to help guide you according to God's will. You've had quite the journey thus far, and we commend you for seeking God's face in your life's decisions. It's crucial to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and He wants us to seek Him in all that we do.
Firstly, we want to address the fact that you're seeking a Korean wife specifically. While there's nothing wrong in having personal preferences, it's important to be open to God's leading. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), meaning we should seek a spouse who is also a believer in Jesus Christ and walks in His ways. If God leads you to a Korean woman who fits this description, then that's wonderful. But if He has another plan, we should be open to that as well.
Secondly, we want to caution you about your interactions with the married woman you mentioned. While it's encouraging that she shared a Christian worship video with you, it's important to maintain appropriate boundaries. Remember, the seventh commandment tells us, "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB). We should always be mindful of our interactions with the opposite sex, especially when they are already committed to someone else.
We are glad that you had a vision from God and that it has given you a sense of direction. However, we must test every spirit (1 John 4:1 WEB), and every vision should be taken to God in prayer for confirmation. Remember, God's will is not always about our personal desires, but about His glory and our sanctification.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother in Christ. Lord, we thank You for the journey You've taken him on, and for the encounters that have brought him closer to You. We pray for Your will to be done in his life, especially concerning his future spouse. If it is Your will for him to have a Korean wife, then we pray for Your divine appointment. If not, then we pray for Your guidance and clarity.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for Your hedge of protection around him. Guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help him to maintain pure and honourable relationships, and to always be a light to those around him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's wonderful that you acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. Remember, Jesus Himself told us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB). So, continue to pray and believe, knowing that our access to God is only through Jesus Christ. If you haven't already, take some time to read and meditate on the Gospel accounts in the New Testament to learn more about who Jesus is and what He has done for us.
