We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and family. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6, "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this marriage and family to You. We ask that You would work by Your Holy Spirit in the heart of this dear sister. Soften her heart, Lord, and silence any voices that are not from You. Surround her with godly counsel, and let Your love and power set her free from any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness.
We rebuke the spirit of divorce and ask that You would bring unity, healing, and restoration to this marriage. We pray that both husband and wife would be willing to forgive, to love, and to cherish one another as Christ loves the Church.
We encourage you to continue to walk in love, to be patient, and to be kind. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous. Love does not brag, and is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is at work in your situation. Continue to pray and seek God's face. We are reminded of the promise in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
We are praying for you and your family, and we trust that God will bring reconciliation and restoration.
