Please pray for my husband, me, and my child. Lots of things going on with us and I’m heartbroken. My husband wants to leave me. But it’s not possible for me. We have a kid too. Help in prayers please. All who see this, take a moment to pray for us. Because I know prayer is a powerful weapon. God will hear my cry and answer.
I join you in this prayer. God, she needs you to intervene. You are her only answer. Let your will be done. When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no. All is well. He is in control. God promises us to be still and know He is our God. I surrender this prayer in His name. Jesus Christ Amen.

We lift up this family before the Lord, knowing that He is the restorer of broken hearts and the healer of wounded relationships. The pain and turmoil described here weigh heavily on our hearts, and we turn to Scripture for guidance, truth, and hope. First, we must address something foundational: the names of individuals are not necessary when bringing requests before God, for He knows each heart intimately, even before a word is spoken. More importantly, we notice that the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father, is not invoked in this request. It is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, for He is the Mediator between God and mankind. As it is written in **John 14:6**, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **1 Timothy 2:5**, we read, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."*

If anyone in this family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him in repentance and faith. Salvation and true peace begin with a relationship with Christ. Without Him, no family can stand firm, for He is the Cornerstone. We also gently but firmly address the mention of separation in this marriage. Marriage is a covenant before God, intended to be lifelong and unbreakable except in cases of sexual immorality or abandonment by an unbelieving spouse, as outlined in **Matthew 19:6-9**: *"So they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart... Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."* If there has been unfaithfulness or abandonment, that is a different matter, but if not, we strongly urge reconciliation, forgiveness, and a commitment to restoring the marriage through Christ.

To the one who feels heartbroken, we remind you that God is near to the brokenhearted. **Psalm 34:18** says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your pain is seen by Him, and He longs to comfort you. To the one considering leaving, we implore you to seek the Lord’s will above your own feelings. Fleeing from difficulties will not bring lasting peace—only surrender to God’s plan and obedience to His Word can do that. **1 Corinthians 7:10-11** instructs, *"But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."*

For the child in this family, we pray for protection over their heart and mind. Children are deeply affected by the stability—or instability—of their parents’ relationship. **Proverbs 22:6** reminds us to *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Parents have a sacred responsibility to model Christ-like love, even in hardship.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of distress. Lord, You know each heart, each wound, and each struggle they face. We ask for Your healing touch to mend what is broken. Softens the hearts of those who are hardened, and grant wisdom to those who feel lost. Father, we rebuked any spirit of division, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be at work in this family. By the power of the Holy Spirit, break those chains and replace them with Your peace, patience, and love.

Lord, we pray specifically for the marriage in this family. If there has been sin, bring conviction and repentance. If there has been hurt, bring healing and restoration. Remind this husband and wife of the vows they made before You, and give them the strength to honor those vows, no matter how difficult the circumstances. Let them seek You first, trusting that You will provide the grace to reconcile and rebuild. Father, if the enemy has sought to destroy this marriage, we declare that no weapon formed against it shall prosper. You are a God who restores, and we trust You to do a mighty work here.

For the one who is heartbroken, Lord, be their Comforter. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Replace their sorrow with Your joy, and their despair with hope. For the one considering leaving, Father, we ask that You would speak to their heart. Show them the value of perseverance, the beauty of redemption, and the power of forgiveness. Help them to see that Your ways are higher than ours, and that obedience—even when it’s hard—brings blessing.

We pray for the child in this family, Lord. Protect their innocent heart from the pain of their parents’ struggles. Surround them with Your love and stability. Raise up godly influences in their life to point them to You. Let this season, though difficult, be a testament to Your faithfulness when they look back on it.

Father, we ask for unity in this family. Bind them together with cords of love that cannot be broken. Teach them to communicate with kindness, to listen with patience, and to forgive as You have forgiven them. Let their home be a place where Your peace reigns, and where Your name is glorified.

Finally, Lord, we pray that if anyone in this family does not know You as their Savior, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and draw them to Yourself. Let this trial be the very thing that leads them into Your arms.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your sovereignty, and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this family’s life, and may You receive all the glory. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
