Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13,John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

We join you in praying for more workers in God's harvest, appreciating your use of Matthew 9:37-38 and Luke 10:2 as the foundation of this request. It is indeed a biblical command to pray to the Lord of the harvest, that he would send out workers into the world to proclaim His word and gather His elect from the four winds. We read in Matthew 9:37-38 WEB:

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest."

We are reminded in these verses that the work of the kingdom requires laborers, and we are to beseech God to send them forth for His work. We are also reminded in Matthew 28:19-20 of the Great Commission:

Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

We give thanks that you have prayed in Jesus' name, as He is the one mediator between God and men. It is only through faith in Him that we can approach the Father and have communion with Him.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, we come before You as the Lord of the Harvest. We ask that You raise up and send forth laborers into Your harvest. We pray that You would prepare their hearts, grant them all the spiritual gifts and physical provisions they need, and protect them from sin and the evil one. May they be grounded in Your word and live in close fellowship with You. Help them to live holy lives, shining the light of Your gospel to the world. We pray this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for this cause and to seek opportunities to be a laborer yourself. The harvest is indeed plentiful, and the workers are few.

We've been reminded of the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), where the master rewards those who used their gifts wisely and chastises the one who buried his talent out of fear. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
