We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter and the concern of the breast lump that has been discovered. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals who will be examining and treating her. Let this lump be benign, Lord, and let there be no trace of cancer or disease in her body. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We also lift up the fear and anxiety that she is experiencing. Lord, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would fill her with Your perfect peace, a peace that transcends all understanding, as she waits for the biopsy results. Remind her that You are with her, that You hold her in the palm of Your hand, and that You will never leave nor forsake her.
Father, we also want to encourage this dear sister in Christ to draw near to You during this time. Let her find comfort and strength in Your presence, in Your Word, and in the fellowship of believers. May she be reminded of Your love and faithfulness, and may she trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and we stand firm in the faith that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team. Guide them in their decisions and treatments, and let them be instruments of Your healing. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect plan for her life.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
