Yet even as we cry out for justice, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The Lord calls us to trust Him, even when the wicked prosper, for *"the wicked plots against the just and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for He sees that his day is coming"* (Psalm 37:12-13, WEB).
You have rightly held to the promise of Matthew 6:33, seeking first God’s kingdom and righteousness. But let us encourage you: this is not merely about outward actions but about the posture of your heart. Do you seek Him in prayer, in His Word, and in obedience, even when answers tarry? The delay you experience is not outside His sovereignty. *"Wait for the Lord. Be strong and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord"* (Psalm 27:14, WEB). He sees your faithfulness, and in His time, He will provide—not just a job or a spouse, but the fullness of His purpose for your life.
Regarding your desire for a godly marriage, we rejoice that this is your heart’s cry. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and we pray the Lord prepares you to be a husband who leads with love, integrity, and self-sacrifice. But we must also ask: are you actively stewarding this season of waiting? Are you growing in godly character, serving in your church, and preparing practically (financially, emotionally, spiritually) for marriage? The Lord often uses seasons of waiting to refine us. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22, WEB), but this blessing comes in His timing, not ours.
As for the corruption in government, we must pray for repentance and justice while remembering that our ultimate hope is not in earthly rulers but in the King of Kings. *"Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help"* (Psalm 146:3, WEB). The Lord raises up leaders and brings them down (Daniel 2:21), and He will hold accountable those who exploit the vulnerable. We also lift up his desire for a spouse. Lord, prepare him to be a husband after Your own heart, rooted in Your Word and led by Your Spirit. Bring into his life a woman who fears You, who will walk beside him in faith, and who will build a home founded on Christ. Father, guard his heart against bitterness and discouragement. Remind him that You are sovereign over every delay and every injustice.
