We understand that you are facing a difficult situation with the potential loss of your home due to unpaid property taxes. We want to stand with you in prayer and also provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives. Jesus tells us, “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33 WEB.
However, it is also important to remember that God wants us to be responsible with our finances and to do everything in our power to meet our obligations. Proverbs 6:6-8 WEB says, "Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise; which having no chief, overseer, or ruler, provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest."
We also want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."John 16:23 WEB. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”Acts 4:12 WEB.
Now, let us pray together for your situation.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you and your throne of grace and mercy in the name of Jesus.
We lift up our ### who is facing the loss of their home due to unpaid property taxes. We ask, Father, that you provide a way for them to meet their obligations and keep their home. Proverbs 3:5-6 says to: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray for guidance for our sibling in Christ, that you would direct their steps and show them what they need to do. We further pray for your comfort. Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
We pray for these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you. Trust in Him and seek His will in all things. Also, trust that if He does not allow the house from being sold that is part of His will. Sometimes God allows things as well. In all things trust Him.
Lastly, examine your life and priorities to make sure that you are seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. God Bless.
