We come before the Lord with gratitude for His provision and faithfulness in your life, and we lift up your request regarding the approval of your reasonable accommodation (RA) at work. It is clear this accommodation has already been a blessing, and we pray that God’s will be done in this situation, trusting that He knows what is best for you.
The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We encourage you to continue seeking God’s peace as you wait, knowing He is in control. Proverbs 3:5-6 also tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
However, we must also address something important. Your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together for your request:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is waiting for the approval of their RA at work. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and how this accommodation has already been a source of relief and improvement in their life. We ask that You move in this situation, softening the hearts of those in authority to approve this request permanently. Give them favor in the eyes of their employers, and let Your will be done in a way that brings glory to Your name.
We also pray for peace and patience as they wait, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Help them to trust in You completely, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider and Sustainer.
If there is any area in their life that needs alignment with Your Word, we ask that You reveal it to them and give them the courage to walk in obedience. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will add all that they need (Matthew 6:33).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this matter and to trust in His perfect plan for your life. If this accommodation is His will, He will make a way. If not, He will provide something even better. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay strong in faith, and may God bless you abundantly.
