We understand that you're going through a financial struggle and feeling the pressure of not having enough. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our provider and He knows our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
It's important to align our priorities with God's will and trust that He will provide for our needs. However, we also need to do our part and work diligently. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB, it says:
"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread."
Let's pray for God's provision and guidance in your life.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of financial breakthrough. We pray that You would open up a job opportunity that can work around their current job, allowing them to earn more to meet their needs. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance as they seek for this additional work. Help them to manage their time and resources wisely.
But more importantly, Father, we pray that they would seek Your kingdom and righteousness first. Help them to realign their priorities according to Your will. Give them the strength and diligence to work as unto You.
We also pray that they would know You more, Father. That they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You. It is by the name of Jesus that we are saved. If they have not done so, we pray that they would call on His name and be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
