Now, let's consider the principle of wealth. God wants us to work and earn our provision, while trusting in Him to bless our efforts. Seeking wealth through the lottery can be deceiving. Remember the words of Paul in Ephesians: For you know this, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no man deceive you with empty words. WEB Eph 5:5-6 For I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. WEB Php 4:11-13 As we align our desires with God’s will, He provides for us according to His riches in glory. We can work diligently, be content in all circumstances, and trust God to meet our needs.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your love and provision. We ask that You guide our hearts to align with Your will. Help us to be content in all circumstances and to trust in You for our needs. Deliver us from the desire to gain wealth through means that may not honor You. Give us the strength and wisdom to work diligently and to be good stewards of the resources You provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of Jesus: But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. WEB Mat 6:33 Trust in God’s provision, and He will supply all your needs.
