We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your father and his ministry. Father God, we know that You have called him to serve You, and we ask that You strengthen him in every way. The weight of ministry can be burdensome, and we pray that You would sustain him mentally and physically. Lord, grant him wisdom, clarity, and endurance as he walks in obedience to Your calling.
We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to discourage, distract, or weaken him. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ and declare that no weapon formed against your father shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would surround him with Your protection, peace, and provision.
Father, we also ask that You would minister to his physical health. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. Strengthen his body, refresh his mind, and renew his spirit. Remind him that his strength comes from You alone, as it says in Isaiah 40:31, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
We pray for his ministry, Lord. Let Your anointing rest upon him as he preaches Your Word and leads Your people. May his labor bear fruit that remains, and may lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel. Protect him from burnout, pride, or any temptation that would seek to derail his calling. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit afresh each day.
Lastly, we ask that You would draw him closer to You. In the busyness of ministry, it can be easy to neglect personal time with You. Help him to abide in Your presence, to seek Your face daily, and to find his rest in You. May he be a man after Your own heart, as David was, fully surrendered to Your will.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father, and it is only through His sacrifice that we are saved. We declare that Your will be done in your father’s life, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him.
Amen.
